D-CLEAN launched the first in a series of six webinars titled “Mapping the Danube Region – Regional Insights into Wastewater and Stormwater Challenges in Small Settlements.” We were thrilled to welcome so many engaged participants from across the Danube River Basin and beyond!
This premiere session provided valuable insights from our regional baseline analysis, including:
- An overview of existing infrastructure, settlement structure, technologies and practices
- Identification of strengths and weaknesses in current systems
- A review of national policies and management plans
These findings lay the groundwork for introducing nature-based solutions to improve water quality and support sustainable development in the region.
