sajam_turizamThirty-Eighth Tourism Fair was held from 18 to 21 February 2016. That was an opportunity for RDA Srem, together with the municipalities of Srem region, to present projects that contribute to the development of tourism products, the increase of tourist offers but also the overall socio – economic development of the region. Particularly the important fact is that the fair has presented more than 1,000 exhibitors from some fifty countries from around the world, making it the largest manifestation in the country and southeast Europe.

sajam_turizam_01In this sense, it was important to present the project “Danube Bike – establishing of the regional cycling route Srem”, which according to the representative of RDA Srem, Sanja Stupar, enters its second phase of implementation – the production and installation of bicycle signalization and rest areas along the route Srem. This would be of great importance to the national and international cycle tourists and will enable safer driving in designated main and de tour routes, easer communication and orientation towards natural and cultural – historical values which our region is famous for.

The next goal of RDA Srem is to define Sava cycling routes which would be connected to on an existing route Srem in the cycling corridor over 600 km long and thus connect international routes Srem and EuroVelo 6. Established in this way, it would link our region with the neighbouring countries and countries in the Danube region as well.
