Regional Development Agency Srem (Srem RDA) has provided technical support to municipalities Stara Pazova and Ruma in the preparation of projects within the call of the Provintial Secretariat for Inter-regional Cooperation and Local Self-government, which was announced in March 2012. The objective of this call was to support the implementation of municipal Local Economic Development Strategy and Realization of their priority. RDA Srem, in cooperation with the mentioned municipalities assisted in the identification of priority projects and their technical preparation and writing of applications themselves.
Provincial Secretariat has approved two projects worth 1,852,280 RSD. Now follows a joint implementation of the projects and RDA Srem has a coordinating role of project activities and provides certain services in both projects. It is important that these projects make very strong links among industry and municipalities facilitating the possibility of direct investments, particularly in the field of renewable energy sources.
