In order to improve business activities and efficient use of funds for regional development, Regional Development Agency Srem signed a protocol of cooperation with the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGA) – a leading national institution that keeps records of spatial, mapping and cadastral data in the Republic of Serbia.
RGA Director, Mr Zoran Krejović and RDA Srem director, Mr Milan Miric, signed the protocol on 20th June 2014. The Protocol was signed in the presence of the Assistant Director of RGA, Ms Miljana Kuzmanovic-Kostic, Advisor to the Director of RGA, Mr Dragan Kuzmanovic and Chief of the Srem District, Mr Ilija Milinović as well as the representatives of the municipality of Stara Pazova and Ruma.
This cooperation will involve a sharing of personnel and infrastructural capacity and transfer of appropriate data and records of the purposes of the preparation of regional projects funded by the EU or other funds.
“I think today a strategic partnership with one of the most important institutions in the Republic of Serbia was signed. Such a partnership lacked to us in our previous work regarding projects initiated and carried out in the area looking for reliable spatial data, and it includes property records, the records of existing infrastructure, facilities, their status, etc. Any specific project requirements, use of personnel, technology and infrastructure capacity will be defined by individual contracts in accordance with the protocol signed today” said Director of RDA Srem, Milan Miric.
