In Vinkovci, Republic of Croatia, signed the first projects approved under the Interreg Program IPA CBC Croatia – Serbia 2014 – 2020, entitled „Take care!“ and „ViCTour“. These are two of a total of twenty three project proposals selected for funding in the first call for Proposals published by the Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia.
The „Take care!“ – in which the lead Partner is the Association for persons with Disabilities „Bubamara“ Vinkovci and partners are Regional Development Agency Srem, General Hospital Sremska Mitrovica, Caritas „Saint Anastasia“ Sremska Mitrovica, Home for the elderly and infirm from Ilok, with the total value of the project of € 939 505.50 and the implementation period is 20 months.
In front of the Agency for Regional Development the Republic Croatian, the contract was signed by director of the agency, Stella Arneri, in front of lead Partner the signatory was the President of the Association Tomislav Velić.
Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia, Gabriela Žalac, attended the contract signing ceremony.
After that, the partnership agreement on the implementation of the project between the holder and all partners was signed.
The main objective of the project „Take Care!“ is to improve the availability and quality of health and social services provided to the elderly, infirm and disabled people in the border regions, the development of palliative care services and complementary social services through a joint program of networking and training.
