Regional Development Agency Srem, in cooperation with the partners from Serbia: Red Cross Sremska Mitrovica and Centre for Economic Empowerment of Roma People, and partners from Croatia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Bosnia and Hercegovina invites you to the Final Conference conference of the project: „WAI4PwDs-Web Accessibility and Other Initiatives in EU for Persons with Disabilities in pandemics and other crisis times“ which is being conducted with the financial support of the European Union, Europe for Citizens programme, strand Network of Cities.
The goal of the project is to gather other EU partner states to discuss universal but also European dimension of difficulties persons with disabilities deal with in the moments of pandemics such as COVID19 but also other crisis situations such as floods, earthquakes and similar, and to create new ideas, to network themselves and to form sustainable partnerships.
Conference focus will be placed on project results but also on discussions around 2030 EU and SDG goals for persons with disabilities and how they fit into accessibility issues in the newly emerging crisis situations: War in Ukraine and earthquakes in Turkey/Syria.
Also, conference will also be an opportunity for organizations who deal with disability issues to join and network themselves around new project ideas that will be developed during the event.
