In the scope of the project “Bicycle tourism towards rural and regional development of Srem” financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), RDA Srem has organized 3rd meeting of IMWG for tourism. Topics of the meeting were the following: information concerning the progress of the second project phase – establishing Destination management organization (DMO) of Srem and training of members of IMWG for tourism in currently active IPARD measures.
Members of IMWG for tourism were presented with Consortium for supporting project preparation by applying IPARD methodology, Consortium consists of RDA Srem, Institute for the economics of agriculture and Institute of economy sciences both from Belgrade. The purpose of the Consortium is to provide clients with support in using IPARD, from providing information on available measures and technical support to all phases of the project cycle by IPARD methodology: preparation, implementation and reporting.
During the training, lecturers Vlado Kovačević and Jonel Subic put accent on measures available to farmers in the scope of IPARD 2 programme 2014-2020, specific eligibility criteria, eligible and ineligible expenses, list of necessary documentation, filling in business plan, printed and e-forms, etc.
This was the first out of 5 planned trainings which will be held for the members of IMWG for tourism as well as representatives of agricultural households, small and medium entreprises from the tourism sector in the region of Srem. All the trainings will be implemented in the upcoming month.
