As one of the key segments of the cross-border project ER-NOW is the work of the Inter-municipal working group for environmental protection and risk management (IMWG), of which the second meeting held on 21 February 2017 in Sid. The session was attended by project partners on both sides of the border as well as IMWG members, consisting of representatives of all municipalities of Srem and important institution in this field.
Bora Obradović, RDA Srem project manager has held training of IMWG members in the field of risk management competencies to the local level with the presentation of the Terms of Reference for the preparation of the plan of activities in emergency of flood defence. Inter-municipal working group adopted the Framework training topics to the field of risk management to enable better access in emergencies.
The second regular monitoring visit was held after the IMWG session, which was attended by Mr Vladislav Vlajić, a representative of the Joint Technical Secretariat for Cross-border program SRB-BIH from Uzice. On that occasion, Mr Vlajić, as Task Manager has interviewed the project team members responsible for the project implementation and the project documentation was submitted including the tender documentation as well. The meeting ended with a few advice and support for the continuation of the project.
As a logical sequence, at the end, a meeting of the Project Team „ER-NOW“. The activities implemented so far, and plans for the future were discussed at the meeting. The current tenders and procedures were discussed in the Republic of Serbia as well as the procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The schedule of activities and comparing the dates and plans for the next month was followed as well.
