The objective of the establishment and operation of IMWG for sewage systems collection and treatment of wastewater in the region of Srem is using regional projects of the RDA Srem to unite all available institutional and individual capacities and achieve professional cooperation in the preparation and implementation of such projects in the field of agriculture and irrigation.
The expected outcome of the project is to create basic documents that are necessary under the national laws for its physical realization that, due to the vastness of works on irrigation systems, certainly involves a multi-year phase implementation.
Director of RDA Srem Milan Miric said that this project is one of the main candidates for the EU grants and he is completely sure that with such an integrated approach to solving the problem of channeling, drainage and waste water treatment in the territory of the entire region, Srem would be unique in comparison with all the other candidates in the environment.
