At the Final conference of the project whose initiator was RDA SREM who also provided technical support and actively participated in its implementation, resulst of the project as well a short movie about the project were presented to the public.
Project „Emergency response – NOW“ represents a result of joint work of the Municipality of Šid, City of Sremska Mitrovica, Brčko District and Municipality of Brod, thanks to which all the participants today are more ready to provide coordinated response to floods and other natural disasters.
Significant equipment is obtained, units of civil protection were trained, expert public is informed, Action plan for coordinated emergency response was adopted, while a very important benefir for all the particiipants is experience in the realization of such projects, which will be a good reference for the upcoming projects.
