Development Agency is to be a link between the public, private and civil sectors in building strategic partnerships through the preparation and implementation of projects that contribute to raising the standard of living in the Srem region and more uniform regional development both in Srem and in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia as a whole.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The mission is to encourage regional development by using local and national sources of funds and available EU funds and other funds of the international community, as well as attracting foreign investors to the area of \u200b\u200bthe Srem region.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The regional development agency Srema was founded by a contract signed in Ruma on April 22. 2010, by six municipalities on the territory of Srem (In\u0111ija, Irig, Pecinci, Ruma, Stara Pazova, \u0160id), the city of Sremska Mitrovica and the Sremska Chamber of Commerce. <\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">On February 7, 2012, the Srem Regional Development Agency officially received accreditation for carrying out activities of importance for balanced regional development in the territory of the Srem district by the National Agency for Regional Development, in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Accreditation (&#8220;Official Gazette of RS&#8221;, No. 74\/2010) and the Law on Regional Development.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">RDA Srem operates as a non-profit limited liability company d.o.o. which does not share profits and was established according to the legislation of the Republic of Serbia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bbb99ab e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"bbb99ab\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>As a Regional Development Agency established for the area of \u200b\u200bthe Srem district, the Agency&#8217;s basic activities are limited to the establishment and promotion of an active policy of regional development, which represents the public interest of citizens, businesses and institutions in the territory of Srem, and in accordance with the conditions for the work of regional agencies defined by the Law on Regional Development and the Development Strategy of the Republic of Serbia.<\/p><p>PRINCIPLES OF THE AGENCY&#8217;S OPERATION:<\/p><ul><li>Using the comparative advantages of the Srem district<\/li><li>Promotion of local initiatives, innovations and entrepreneurship<\/li><li>Creation of modern economic infrastructure;<\/li><li>Alignment with professional knowledge and experience from other regions and areas;<\/li><li>Strengthening technological, environmental and human resources;<\/li><li>Acceleration of the process of creating new quality jobs;<\/li><li>Protection of natural resources and preservation of cultural heritage.<\/li><\/ul><p>BASIC ACTIVITIES:<\/p><ul><li>Preparation of regional development programs and action plans for Srem;<\/li><li>Professional work on the preparation of projects;<\/li><li>Coordination of project proposals with the interests of local self-governments in the area of \u200b\u200bSrem (advice, assistance and partnership when applying);<\/li><li>Support for projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the Srem district and reducing unemployment;<\/li><li>Support for the development of skills and relevant qualifications for the needs of employees;<\/li><li>Supporting the competitiveness of companies in the region and strengthening their connections;<br>Participation in project groups that were formulated for the realization of projects within the framework of national and international programs;<br>International, cross-border and inter-municipal cooperation affairs;<br>Other jobs in accordance with the founding
