In Čakovec (Republic of Croatia), on 22nd November 2019, Opening Conference of the project “PRO HEALTH for Roma” was held in the premises of the Međimurje County with the presence of 8 partners among which is the Regional Develoment Agency of Srem.
The goal of the project is to improve access of Roma people to health care services in the area of Sremska Mitrovica and Medjimurje county.
All the measures implemented will be included into regional action plans for Sremska Mitrovica and Medjimurje County in order to fit in with the EU framework for national strategies for Roma integration.
Together with the RDA Srem, partners on the project are Doctors of the World from Belgium, Red Cross of Vojvodina, Red Cross Sremska Mitrovica, Centre for Economic Empowerment of Roma from Sremska Mitrovica as well as partners from Croatia: the City of Čakovec, Medjumurje County and Directorate for public health of Medjumurje County.
