On Monday, 23th March, Final Conference and the promotion of project results was organized in the scope of the project “Bike tourism towards rural and regional development of Srem” which was financed by the Swiss Development Agency.
The guest speakers have pointed out that all conditions for the development of cyclo-tourism are now ready, given the construction of the bike path Mačvanska Mitrovica-Zasavica, bike signalization and regional Srem and Sava bike routes. The formation of this new tourism product is in line with the Strategy of tourism development of the RS and the Programme of tourism development of Vojvodina.
In this project, the City of Sremska Mitrovica and SNR Zasavica have shown that they own development vision which will help sustainable development of Srem region. Srem is worth investing in especially in the areas of tourism, traffic infrastructure and agriculture.
